JNC Summer School
Established in 2011 by Ji’Nan University, one of China's top ten universities, JNC Summer International School ("JNC") offers college-level courses for students interested in studying abroad in China and Taiwan during the summer. As the largest international summer school of its kind, JNC provides an unparalleled opportunity for academic enrichment.
JNC's summer programs are offered online and in-person in major cities such as Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taichung, and Xi’an. Each program features a wide range of high-quality courses taught by faculty from JNC’s partner higher education institutions in America. ​

Our programs offer approximately thirty 5-week courses, primarily focusing on first- and second-year subjects. Most courses fulfill undergraduate general education requirements and adhere to North American standards for contact hours and academic credit. Students typically enroll in the equivalent of 6 to 9 academic credits. Upon successful completion of their coursework, students receive an official transcript issued by a U.S. or Canadian partner institution.

The majority of JNC students are Chinese nationals currently enrolled in degree programs at U.S. and Canadian colleges and universities, and seniors of international high schools in China. Summer study allows these students to advance toward graduation while building valuable peer networks in China. Our diverse student body includes undergraduates from prestigious institutions across North America, such as McGill University, Minnesota State University, Purdue University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Toronto, the University of Washington, and more.
